Origin, History & Cooperation

Since several years our team of S² – Sieckmann Exclusive Yachting is one of the official distributors of the Ferretti Group and serves customers from Germany and Europe.

The comprehensive portfolio of the Ferretti Group allows us to respond individually to customer wishes and to meet all requirements.

For the various brands such as Ferretti Yachts, Custom Line, Pershing, Itama & Riva, we offer our customers a full range of consulting services – including visits to the shipyards, test drives, contract preparation with experienced yacht lawyers who are part of our network, construction support and yacht management.

In the following we would like to introduce you to the history of the Ferretti Group and the individual brands – as well as the special features that make up the individual yacht brands.

The Ferretti Group

The Ferretti Group has been one of the world market leaders for the construction and sale of motor and sailing yachts for decades.

Under the leadership of the current CEO Alberto Galassi, the Group has a global network of 60 exclusive distribution partners and sells its exclusive vessels in over 70 countries worldwide. In total, the Ferretti Group includes six shipyards based in Italy, which manufacture the ships of the seven brands with the highest quality and precision. From the very beginning, the company has set itself the goal of inspiring people and making dreams come true. The philosophy of the Ferretti Group has always been to focus on the yacht owner: each yacht is characterized by simple elegance, unparalleled comfort and the highest level of safety and sailing pleasure. 

What does the Ferretti Group stand for today? And how did it become the largest manufacturer of yachts in Europe?

Alessandro & Norberto Ferretti

Around the year 1975 they decided to put the development of yachts in the center of their business. Already a few years later they presented their first motor yacht, soon followed by various sport and sport fishing boats.

The successful participation in international offshore races of their self-developed racing boats manifested the name and reputation of the brothers and their vessels internationally.

In 1994, the Ferretti brothers established a strategic dealer network outside Europe. The company expanded by acquiring other yacht brands such as Pershing, Itama, Bertram, Riva, Mochi Craft and CRN and became the Ferretti Group.

Our team at S² – Sieckmann Exclusive Yachting represents some of these renowned brands: Pershing, Ferretti Yachts, Itama, Custom Line and Riva from 100 feet. After a long and successful cooperation with the Ferretti Group we are pleased to present you a selection of the extensive portfolio.

Pershing

Pershing specializes in “high performance” and open sport boats. They are distinctive in design as well as unmatched in performance. Alberto Galassi, CEO of Ferretti Group, once said, “If I had to describe Pershing in a song, I would choose “Don’t Stop Me Now” by Queen. This describes the dynamic of Pershing.” A few years ago, Pershing began to evolve the brand: the X models set new standards in design and performance. The X series of Pershing yachts includes the 5X, 7X, 8X and the 9X – the brand new Pershing 6X was recently introduced. The giant of the fleet is the Pershing 140, the unmistakable flagship at over 43 meters and an impressive speed of 38 knots.

The newest model of Ferretti Yachts is the Ferretti Yachts 1000, with her length of 100 feet (30 meters) she offers incredible space and the maximum privacy for her guests. The interior of the Ferretti Yachts 1000 also leaves nothing to be desired and is available in two different color schemes; Contemporary and Classic. Should the owner have other ideas, this is no problem either: the Ferretti Yachts 1000 can be fully customized by the owner.

Itama

Itama specializes in open motor yachts between 13 and 23 meters. They are the perfect symbiosis of style, power and comfort and offer timeless Italian charm. The three different models Itama 75, Itama 62 S and the smaller 45 S are perfect as fast day cruisers, but at the same time offer maximum comfort for a longer stay at sea.

Custom Line

The Custom Line fleet of the Ferretti Group focuses on larger, personalized yachts between 30 and 42 meters. The combination of high-tech, outstanding design and a close relationship with the customer makes each Custom Line unique. Our personal favorite is the Navetta 42, which is named the flagship of the Custom Line yachts. With her proud length of over 135 feet, she offers endless creative freedom for the owner and allows for stylish cruising in casual luxury.

Brand new is the Custom Line 140, which from now on forms the top of the fleet: at 42 meters, this superyacht combines elegant lines and attention to detail. The floor-to-ceiling glazing in the hull provides an exceptional, direct connection to the water in the spacious cabins. Custom Line’s customary cutting-edge design is reflected in the interior as well as the spacious exterior areas, which open up unimagined possibilities for owners and guests. 

The Custom Line 140 is available immediately and can be delivered to you before the end of 2022.

Riva

The yachts of Riva are designed and constructed under the motto “designed to be timeless”. From the 1950s, the brand’s iconic wooden boats were symbols of luxury and lifestyle. Today, Riva offers luxury yachts ranging from 8 to 90 meters and can meet a wide variety of customer needs. 

The special feature of Riva yachts is the Italian design, which combines classic and modern elements and is also reflected in the model names such as Dolce Vita, Aquariva and Rivamare.

Wally

The fleet of Wally yachts includes motor yachts, sailing yachts and tenders.

Wally focuses on technical innovation and new ways to enhance the living experience and comfort on board. The well-known brand has been winning over countless yacht lovers and customers worldwide with this combination for many years. Well-known models of the Wally fleet are the sailing yacht Tango, the wallytender48 and the 58WallyPower.

Wally’s latest model is also one of the shipyard’s most ambitious projects: the WHY200 offers up to 50% more living space on 24 meters than yachts of the same length and surprises with a fully glazed main deck and a stunning owner’s cabin with 270° view.
