2. Vermutería la rosa

If you want to experience authentic Spanish cuisine, Vermutería La Rosa is the place to go. Also located near Paseo del Borne, at Carrer de la Rosa 5, this restaurant is an urban hotspot with lots of charm. The atmosphere is trendy yet relaxed, and the clientele is a mix of locals and expats. No frills, no trends: seasonal products, homemade tapas and house vermouth represent a cuisine that focuses on taste – stylishly presented without losing sight of the essentials. The décor, featuring vintage signs and a collection of antique soda bottles, gives the whole place a nostalgic yet lively character.

Our recommendation: order a variety of tapas to share and start with a glass of the house vermouth on ice. To be honest, the menu makes it difficult to choose – everything tastes great here. If you haven’t made a reservation, be prepared to wait a while.

Reservations are highly recommended and can be made conveniently online.

3. Anssia beach club

Just a five-minute drive from Palma, just before Portixol, is the Anssia Beach Club (formerly Assaona Beach). The club combines a restaurant, bar and beach club in one – with a relaxed atmosphere right by the water.
The concept focuses on local ingredients and Mediterranean cuisine, complemented by Japanese-Mediterranean fusion dishes. In addition to the food, the bar also plays an important role, with the cocktails being particularly popular. The club offers various seating areas, from lounge furniture to day beds on the beach.
What makes Anssia special is that it is open all year round. In summer, you can sit outside with a view of the sea, and in winter you can warm up indoors by the fireplace. DJs play music on weekends between 4 and 7 p.m.

Reservations are recommended, especially if you want to eat something.

4. cala conills

Cala Conills is located in Sant Elm, right on the waterfront with a view of the nearby island of Sa Dragonera. Here, Mallorcan tradition meets modern culinary art – brought to life with passion by the owner, Maria.
The cuisine focuses on fresh fish and high-quality seafood. Popular dishes include tuna tartare with avocado and chipirones with homemade aioli. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is charming at any time of day. Whether for lunch or dinner, the view over the sea is a highlight. Dinner at sunset is particularly beautiful.

If you come by boat, you have to reserve a buoy and transfer to the beach by tender. From there, it’s just a few steps to the restaurant.
One last insider tip: ask for an ‘espresso with Amazonas de Carajillo’ – a combination of coffee and liqueur that perfectly rounds off this culinary visit.

6. sa llotja

If you are looking for a special dinner on the east coast of Mallorca, Sa Llotja is the perfect place. The restaurant is located on the upper floor of the historic Portocolom harbour authority building and offers a beautiful view over the natural harbour. The maritime flair of the small fishing village is clearly noticeable here, especially on warm summer evenings.
The focus is on fresh produce from Spain, much of it sourced directly from the island. Highlights on the menu include grilled octopus, Asturian cod and Ibérico pork cheeks.
We recommend the weekly changing menu at a price of €58, including wine, water and coffee.

Reservations are recommended.

7. Harbour grill

The Harbour Grill is renowned for its high-quality meat and fish dishes, prepared with craftsmanship and great attention to detail. The restaurant is located in the beautiful Marina Port Adriano in the south-west of the island, overlooking the yachts.
Guests who value quality, taste and service will find what they are looking for here.
The cuts are prepared in a special US Southbend grill, which reaches temperatures of up to 800 degrees. This intense heat creates a crust that keeps the meat particularly juicy and brings out the roasted flavours.
In addition to the meat dishes, the kitchen also impresses with a selection of fish. Sole and yellowfin tuna are prepared with equal precision and are representative of the quality of the establishment.
A useful tip: the owner runs another restaurant in Puerto Portals – also worth a visit.
